Monthly Meeting of Alumni Executive Committee.
The monthly meetings of 13 members scheduled on last Wednesday of every month are executed under the guidance of eminent chairpersons of Alumni committee. The basic motive is to have round table suggestions which can aid the subsequent decision making by respective authorities.

Meetings of Associate Alumni in faculty. 
This is the voluntary effort by not only the alumni faculty but also their respective batch mates of MD/MS like categories which is scheduled from time to time in order to get their valuable suggestions to make the very idea of Alumni meet brighter year by year.
 
Meetings of P.G. alumni. 
As it is an established fact, P.G consists of young & youthful ideas , So we encourage their active participation to make Alumni Committee a successful effort.
 
Quarterly Lunch Meets.
By this act of quarterly lunch meets, DMC&H proves that an Alumnus is the backbone of any & every institute. We, therefore invite senior DMC&H Alumnus, Local based alumnus & Alumnus operating in suburbs for providing the wisdom full ideas. Not only this, we heartily invite the silver jubilee & forthcoming silver jubilee batches to grace the lunch meets & to fix their duties towards the forthcoming event.

Annual DMC Alumni Meet.
Every year on the third Sunday of December we organize Annual DMC Alumni meet. All alumni are cordially invited on this occasion with their families to have a great get together. It consist of a cultural function started at Dumra auditorium  where the family members & children of the alumni performs songs , poems Dance etc. all this is followed by Dance & Dinner at City’s best Hotel. Every year more than 250 Alumnus joins together to Strengthen bond between them. Silver jubilee batch every year is specially invited to the occasion & is greeted with trophies. Management members & Old faculty is invited as guests. On the other day, the silver jubilee batch mates take a round to the DMC&H to have a look of its changes.


Guest lectures by NRI alumnus.
We feel immense pleasure to organize the guest lectures by specialist & super specialist NRI alumnus in their respective branches to share their valuable experiences across the globe with DMC&H family.

Alumni CME.
1st DMC Alumni CME was organized by DMC Alumni Committee on 4th April, 2010 at Dumra Auditorium .The CME was attended by approximately 250 alumni members.  Dr. S B Khurana, Former Principal and Head of Medicine Dept., DMC&H was invited as ‘Chief Guest’.
In the CME three guest lectures were delivered by DMC Alumnus namely Dr. Vikas Suri, Assistant Professor in Medicine from PGIMER, Chandigarh who delivered lecture on “Rational Use of Antibiotics”, Dr. Dinesh Kullar, Senior Nephrologist from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi who delivered a lecture on “Hypertension in special situations” and another lecture on “Legal aspects in medical practice” was delivered by Dr. Rakesh Gorea from Gian Sagar Medical College, Patiala.
Dr. Jagdeep Whig, Vice Principal and Professor & Head of Pulmonary Medicine, who is also Chairman of DMC Alumni Committee also delivered a lecture on “Overview of Revised National Tuberculosis Control Programme (RNTCP)” 

Retirement Farewell to Alumni in Faculty.
It is yet another milestone for alumni committee to bid an adieu to the alumni faculty who inculcate their rich experience in the forthcoming hierarchy of DMC&H.

Help Desk for Alumnus.
For smooth running of various administrative services, the help desk for alumnus is constructed in Admin block II, named as “Alumni Office” which take care of following issues:
  • To attend the walk in alumnus & enquiries
  • To issue alumni cards & maintain subsequent track record.
  • Lifetime membership of library & DMC&H alumni family.
  • Hassle free entry & discounted medical benefits for alumnus & his/her immediate relatives.
Construction & regular updation of Alumni Website:
An year before the very idea of launching an official website for DMC&H alumni was conceived by the eminent alumni committee; so as to keep the alumni updated, connected & proudly associated with DMC&H family by publishing the reports of various achievements , events & activities taking place throughout the year through Alumni office.
